“Clean, well-maintained home with everything you’d need to have a comfortable stay. The kids loved a little play room off of the bunk room and climbing trees in the yard. The adults loved coffee on the peaceful porch. We all slept great on our overnight stay headed south. Would stay again! ”

“The stay was great!! The train was very very close and great to watch, just not so great 4 or 5 times throughout the night. Would stay again!”

“Syracuse volleyball parents hosted thanksgiving dinner for the team. The place was large enough for 27 people. The outdoor space and lower level provided enough activity for the girls before and after dinner. We had a great time! Thank you 😊”

“Very nice setting right on the river. Well stocked and nicely appointed. Beds were comfortable - earplugs are recommended for the nightly train activity. Worked well for exploring the New River Gorge area. Would definitely stay here again.”

The accommodations were just right for us and host’s attention to little touches like snacks upon arrival were a very nice surprise. “House was very quaint and perfect distance from Winterplace! ”

“Great location perfect for what I was needing. Went to spend time with my daughter who attends Concord university. Walking distance to the college and dorms. House has everything you needed to make a nice meal, beds were very comfortable, ample parking Only thing I would add to make it better would be basic cable. The hosts were very nice and communication was above 5 stars! Will definitely visit again! ”

“The house is stocked with everything you need, if you want to make meals for family or if you’re just using it to have a place to stay while visiting the area. The fresh fruit and bottles of water in the fridge, the free pizza from the gas/grocery store next door, the shampoos/soap/toothpaste in the bathrooms were nice added touches of a welcome.
