“I stayed here 3 weeks ago on business, loved it, so came back again. |The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable rooms, chairs to sit and relax in and a fab smart TV. Great shower. The reason I came back so soon, the Sirloin Steak is one of the best I've ever had, so I had it again. Rare, perfectly cooked. ”

“The breakfast was always wonderful. Everything was very clean. My biggest problem was the location. It was farther away from Cavan than I expected. In addition, I was unable to connect to cellular phone service from my room. Lastly, the owner advised me that she could not accept my credit card even though my credit card is from a European bank, only cash. Overall, I would not choose this property again regardless of the price. ”

“As a traveling salesperson, this was a great find. offering good value for money. Clean room and the bed was better then most of the hotels I have stayed in for many years. I will be using Ashleigh Guest House again on my visits to the area. ”

“Bed was comfortable but the whole property needs some updating. The breakfast was good, staff very friendly and accommodating, it just feels like the property on the whole is past its peak and it needs an overall renovation to bring it up to todays standards and aesthetic. ”
