“My son and I spent one night here on May 2, 2025. It was an exhausting day because we were lied to and ripped off by Europcar. We couldn’t get any roadside assistance even though we paid extra for it Upon arrival at the Luib, we were met with understanding and caring. They have a small staff and a tough job. The owners are very successful people and have owned a number of businesses in Europe and now live in their hometown. I bonded with them and staff immediately. Some reviewers are upset that……
“We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! ”

“We loved staying in the yurt! We were walking the Rob Roy Way and treated ourselves to a bed for the night. Melanie was a really relaxed host and very welcoming, and made a killer breakfast in the morning which set us up well for a day of walking. ”

We parked in the main Callander carpark for £4.50 for 24 hours which was really close to Crown.Crown on Main Street so easy to walk to anywhere in Callander from there
On arrival everyone was friendly .
