“This wonderful pub is a gem. We stayed for two nights and found the staff, especially Daniel, to be friendly and efficient. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely fitted out. The meals are fantastic! Their chef is very talented and serves food that would not be out of place in any high end restaurant. On Friday night we loved the gathering of musicians who played together and added a lovely atmosphere to the (full) restaurant. Parking was conveniently at the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed……

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“I stayed in room 8 for one night, clean room very comfy large bed amazing shower (water pressure was superb). We stayed on a Thursday night and they had live music on for an hour & then karaoke in the bar & restaurant 👍. The food was excellent there was a large selection of Indian food & some traditional dishes ( I had the chicken schnitzel with sauted potatoes & broccoli…v good. I’d also like to mention Sydney the extremely hard working barmaid, she never stopped all night 👏👏👏”

“Excellent stay at Silver Birch. The bed was extremely comfy and the tree house was really well equipped and well furnished. Hot tub was lovely to appreciate the views. Only minor points we would make would be the shower was a little disappointing compared to how luxurious everything else was. Also the spiral stairs to the hot tub felt quite loose, not the safest option. ”
