“Simple but very nice place to stay in the mountains of Santo Antao for a few days. Very good breakfast and dinner. Only communication was sometimes a bit difficult, because host and staff only speak Portuguese.”

“Checked in at 3am on June 1st. We had to wake up host as he didn’t give us any instructions on checking in other than a phone number. The house was hot although it was rather cool outside. We were going to open windows but couldn’t because there were no screens and flies, mosquitoes etc. start coming in. There were two floor fans but only one worked. We left and spent the next three days in a hotel. Property was not clean and the cab driver said he would not stay there.”
