“This is our 2nd year at this property, and have booked again for next year. Love the condo & area.Some supplies are now needing replacement, such as pillows, toaster oven, & frying pans. Also, a bbq on the property would go along way. Abel was again so helpful with any requests we had, and was kind enough to take us out & show us around the surrounding areas on a couple of occasions during our 4 week stay.Until next time ... ”

“We just loved this spot! The layout of the property, our coffees on the deck area overlooking the property, Siegfried our host, just so many good things. The kitchen is equipped with the bare essentials. We didn’t cook at all there, so that wasn’t an issue. The bed was quite a bit different from what we are used to - more on the hard side. There weren’t many pillows (2 with very small throw pillows) A fan would have been nice on the hot nights. There is a ceiling fan above the bed but it……

“My brother and I stayed at Villa La Joya for three nights and enjoyed the entire time. The hosts bent over backwards to make us comfortable and even took the time to discuss life in Barra de Navidad and surrounding areas. The villa is beautifully appointed with lots of space for the two of us. The location was excellent, situated on a canal, but still close to the ocean. “The house is lovely with the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had, a stunning domed roof ceiling in the bedroom, good shower, comfortable bed and good internet so ticks lots of boxes. It is on the edge of town and has some industrial neighbours which made it very noisy. Happy folks are working hard but it is something to know about. It’d be best to have a car or rent bicycles if staying here as taxis were hard to come by at least when we were there. The walk into town was about 18 minutes. If……
