“Loved everything about the caboose. Immaculately clean and the attention to detail. The only problem is the beds. They have the old metal springs which one of the most uncomfortable and painful sleeping experiences of my life. Maybe ok for little kids but not a person in their 50’s. We ended up sleeping in the 2 chairs. Area did not have too much but I did love watching the functional trains across the back area. I would give my review 5 stars except for the beds.”

“Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. “Warm and cozy. It was so nice to sit out on the porch with a complimetary bottle of wine and cookies from our host. He came to make sure we got into the home. It was very kind and thoughtful. Great location. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommend this cottage. ”

“My husband and I stayed here for a week in the run up to our wedding, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The house is incredibly well maintained, very clean, and with very nice appliances (including a dishwasher). Inside, the entire side of the upper level facing the lake has contiguous windows, providing a stunning view of Wyman pond and the large hills behind it.
