“A gem of a motel within walking distance of the beach. A little shopping nearby, including an excellent hardware store, but Westport is just a few miles down the road for more options.”
“Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria.

“Incredibly cozy and enchanting. The front desk clerk was friendly and inviting. When you enter the building, you are surrounded by warm rich woods, stained glass, and Edison bulbs that cast a low amber light. The Historic Queen room I stayed in was delightfully minimal, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room opens up to a private balcony with a little bistro table. I recommend sleeping with the window open to feel the beach air and listen to the ocean.”
“We had such an amazing time!! The beach was fantastic. If I had to point out anything about the cottage it would be the kitchen had VERY basic supplies, if you are going to do much cooking you might want to consider bringing some supplies of your own. That was pointed out in the description from the host and they were accurate! I would also recommend bringing a few snuggly blankets, they had just enough for the bed, nothing extra.
