“Im from wigan originally we came down for my neice wedding it was hood that my family came into the pub and we had a few drinks. We had breakfast on Sunday morning and it was the best weve ever had. The staff were friendly & helpful The rooms could so with a bit of TLC apart from thay excellent weekend Definitely stay again next time down in wigan ”

“We loved our stay here. Lyndsay was very responsive and personable. We had the double with the en-suite bathroom. It was clean and the bed comfortable. The snacks were a great touch. We traveled from the US for the Liverpool/Spurs match that sealed LFC as the Premier League champions! There were celebration spots close by and it was wonderful that the Liverpool players’ bus passes close to the home on Anfield Road. We were right in the middle of everything. Loved it. Go LFC!!!❤️”

“We had a great stay as a family of four for a weekend for the Comic con convention in Liverpool. The hotel was lovely and the family sweet had separate sleeping are for parents. Rooms had everything we needed and were very confortable. Paul the host was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of shops near by and within easy reach of bus and metro links to city centre. The building is beautiful and really worth a stay. The kids loved all of its quirky features. We had a great stay thank you.”

“Great value for money. Clean room, free parking, great restaurant. Was a expecting a single king/queen size bed but it was two pieces of single-beds latched together. The overlap between the beds made sleeping not co comfy. ”

“This is the only place to stay if you are visiting Liverpool to watch a game at Anfield. The atmosohere before and after the game is second to none and it is full of genuine supporters who want to enjoy the whole day, match and evening. The staff are welcoming, friendly and seem like they are enjoying themselves as much as the guests. The hosts/owners go out of their way to make everything easy and to give you a piece of home away from home. Cannot rate highly enough”

“Location is desirable with 20-min walk to the Bus Station. Reception staff are kind and helpful. Safe and tranquil even walking back from Bus Station to the hotel at 9-ish pm. Free carpark and breakfast 👍 Minor drawbacks：no fridge and telephone in the room. Hotel phones can be used in the lobby though.”
