“The host was very responsive and interacted well. The house was perfect for my event. I was able to host a family celebration for a graduation. It was the perfect amount of space for everyone to be comfortable. The only issue was the heating and cooling system but as mention earlier the host was so responsive it never became a big issue. I would definitely book with this host/ property agian.”

The house had many games, books, and movies to choose from for the few days we had some rain. The pool and hot tub were great. Courtney, the property manager, was very quick to respond when we had questions.”

While the kitchen is a bit outdated, it still had everything we needed for preparing meals. The location was fantastic - close to everything we wanted to explore. “Expected a camping type experience but no fire pit as indicated. Trailer was as described. No startup supplies, hand soap,toiletries,coffee. Linens supplied but we had to make our own beds. No blankets for second bedroom. Very unusual for a VRBO property.”

“We loved it. Didn’t end up staying in the Vintage RV, apparently it was OOO and therefore we were upgraded to a Cabin. Which was spacious, cozy and very home like. In walking distance from the pool and lake. Would definitely like to come back.”

“Excellent home base location for any Fredericksburg area activities. Quiet and peaceful street and home. Pictures in listing are an accurate representation. House had all of the essentials, and both bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms of any rental I've ever stayed in. Host communicated well, left plenty of instructions where they might be needed, and even left snacks with a personal note. A very good experience - thank you!”

“The Loft at Jackson Lake exceeded every expectation! Doug and Vicki are fantastic hosts and they’ve built a wonderful property at a really unique setting within the Washington DC area. You will instantly be able to relax in this quiet and well appointed unit. Wonderful outdoor space right on the lake with great views of the water and all the wildlife. I saw a ton of cool birds including an eagle and osprey. I will be coming back… can’t say enough about this place and my new friends Doug and……

Having lived in the area for 16 years I have driven by this gem countless times, always admiring it but I could never have imagined how nice, how peaceful a property it is. It's conveniently located close to everything but nestled away for privacy. The game room was a hit, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked with everything you need for meals.
