“The property was very pretty and comfortable. Roomy and relaxing! The views on a clear day were gorgeous! Quiet and private, but close to town so that you can pick up necessities or eat out. Only @ 35 mins to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Only two minor issues - the step on the side deck needs better 'warning'. I knew it was there but still missed it twice because your eyes are drawn to the lake view (maybe a mat?). And there was no mat inside the guest shower so it was a bit slick.……

“ Beautiful home on a beautiful property with everything you need! Book now! I promise you won’t regret it! We were greeted with a bald eagle swooping in to the nearby trees, the loons on the lake that have the most amazing call, large snapping turtle chilling by the dock, mother duck and her babies, and baby barred owls that that made themselves known on our last day. It was a perfect home base when exploring Mount Desert Island, Schoodic Peninsula (highly recommend), Bar Harbor & the nearby……

“Wolfe’s Way is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. It was clean and quiet. Very well equipped home. The location is great, close to shopping and dining. Close to Acadia but also other wonderful spots to explore like Jasper Beach known as the “singing beach” and Quoddy Head State Park where you will find cool cliff walks. Would definitely book again and stay longer next time!”

“Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend.”

“The Lazy Lumberjack Hilltop Cabin is a beautiful, fully functional home, with all the you need to live there minus the food. Very clean and comfortable beds and furniture. The 2 bathrooms are a plus. Heating was great. A gas grill outside was a life saver. Very private and quiet. If you are going to hike at Acadia or just go to Bay Harbor area is a 40 minute drive, very reasonable if you are comparing rates of were to stay. My friends a I were very pleased with the Cabin.”
