“The property is AMAZING. The cottage is small but has everything you could need. It is quaint and charming and the wall AC units are remarkably strong. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was good for remote work. If you are looking for peace, quiet and beauty in nature while still being able to access the hustle and bustle, this slice of heaven is perfect. ”

“Very peaceful and clean property The pond is visible from the screened in deck Cows are meandering Kitchen is very well appointed, if you like to cook, which we really enjoyed”

“The property was located in a peaceful area. We loved the screened in porch for enjoying our breakfast and to relax in the evening.”

“Everything was described as mentioned in the pictures. Only downfall was no railings going into the into the house and down to the basement. Overall very nice stay”

“The home was beautiful and well kept. Essential kitchen items are included along with sheets and towels. Dawn was a super reliable host. Communication was wonderful. She had toiletries and some stocked snacks for the guests. Although we did not have time to use them, there were cornhole boards and ladder ball for guests to use. The home is about a block to the river where fishing is a must. There is also a public beach within walking distance. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for……

“We had a fantastic time. Beautiful, clean, and all the comforts of home. Loved the beach and swimming in front of the property! We didn’t get to use the hot tub, kayaks and paddle boats but it’s wonderful to have for those who would like them, or if we had more time. We love the Wellwood and Backfin Blues for dining. Dave and Barb are wonderful hosts that reached out during stay. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage. Thank you for hosting us! ”

“I had a wonderful long weekend. The house was clean and had everything I needed. I loved being able to enjoy the outdoor space and it was made all the more enjoyable with the chickens. The location was perfect for the activities I wanted to do (reading, hiking, & bird watching!). I would definitely stay here again. ”

“This adorable cottage provided the perfect atmosphere for a week long getaway. The kitchen was immaculate and the center island quickly became our favorite place to sip our morning coffee. The bathroom was roomy with a beautiful shower and a large washer and dryer.The host was gracious and left cookies and candy as well as beautiful flowers upon our arrival. If our family is ever visiting the area again, we will definitely stay here!”
