“Excellent location, breakfast, services, cleanliness😊”

“Excellent hotel and staff. Location is good, a few minutes to the marina and old town. The rooms were spacious and the kitchenette was a bonus if you wanted to make breakfast etc. staff are nice and helpful, they helped us book a private tour for 8 of us as the others were fully booked. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate was a great idea, we would usually meet up in the breakfast room and have a coffee before heading out. Would definitely recommend the Roots Hotel. ”

“Was here end of May and was just the hotel I wanted: quiet, clean but with pool and beach access. The beach was a bit of a trek down a lot of stairs, but well worth it. Try and find the Olhos d'Agua at low tide. Food is ok, but there are decent alternatives in the nearby town.. Definitely recommended for a chill break, but with easy taxi ride to the nightlife of Albufeira. ”

“Staff was excellent!!! Professional, friendly and helpful. The room was small. The pool area was very nice. The eating area was very nice. All in all a good place to stay. Used Uber to get to mall, train, bus, beach and downtown Faro.Uber was very inexpensive. Did I say “Staff was Excellent! “”

“The drawback is if it’s rainy day, you won’t have much hot water for shower. The first night when we arrived at hotel was a rainy day so we barely had a hot shower. The host was super nice and will offer free breakfast. ”

“The hotel was comfortable with friendly staff. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was good. However, the hallway leading to the room had a very strong sewage smell, which was odd. While the room showed some signs of wear, it was still well-maintained. I was disappointed that no one informed me the beach facilities were unavailable. Despite these issues, I had an enjoyable stay overall.”
