“The pictures accurately represent the property. The only surprising aspect was the location. Situated on a somewhat active road, the property sits on an old gas station and above an unoccupied Chinese restaurant. Noise from passing traffic was an issue for our infants at times. Totally equipped with lovely furniture, some antique, some very modern, high-end appliances, cookery and local pottery dish-ware. Modern/eclectic vibe within an old building. “We enjoyed our stay at this Deer Isle apartment. Watching the sunrise over the water and the deer crossing the lawns started our days off right. “My wife and I stayed for two nights in March. Arrival and check in was incredibly simple with clear instructions and door code entry. The apartment is up a somewhat steep staircase, but manageable. I only really struggled with it when carrying a large, heavy cooler. The unit itself is very clean and well laid out. Plenty of space for two.
