“I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. ”

“We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It's a short drive to the Camden Snow Bowl and from downtown Camden. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The attention to detail was appreciated. We imagine it would be a great place to stay in the Summer months. Overall we highly recommend!”

“We had some issues upon check-in with the propane. They got it all sorted very quickly and were kind about the whole situation. The view is spectacular and area is peaceful. My kids were in awe of the amount of fish they caught right off the dock. The house is very well stocked with all you’d possibly need. We would stay there again! ”

“Peaceful, relaxed, beautiful, rustic. It’s a cabin on a lake with the essentials plus WiFi. We all loved it. Especially the firepit and watching the moon come up over the lake. Our host was very responsive and helpful. It was all we needed or wanted!”

“This property had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was close to many of the places we wanted to visit. Hosts were lovely people who answered questions promptly, and even let us borrow a cooler of theirs for a day trip, since we arrived by plane. Would recommend”

“Adorable small cottage, a quick walk to town. A little hilly butan easy walk. House had all amenities and washingachine, which was auper helpful!”

“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. We were sad we only stayed one night. The driveway is a bit steep and not paved. Our SUV handled it fine but a smaller car may have a bit of……

“Our stay felt like home. We were close enough to Bangor to get back and forth. Comfortable surrounding. Parking a dodge ram was a bit tight. But we managed. Ivy and Kyle were so helpful with our questions or little requests. I would stay on site again. Thanks for everything. ”

She shares great recommendations for hiking, fun places to get almost any kind of food you may be craving. This is not a fancy cottage, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing and is a perfect location for hiking and exploring. The stairs are very steep and the old fashioned claw foot tub with shower needs to be navigated……
