“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. “This was the cutest cottage for our first trip to Maine! We loved taking our dog for walks on the trails behind the house. There was plenty of wildlife and beauty right behind the house. This was the best place for birdwatching! We could hear the loons from our window at night, and we saw them in the lake a few times. “Pat's Place was an ideal location for our vacation in Maine. It's located on a beautiful private cove. The house was extraordinarily clean and the owners were so responsive. Local restaurants and cafes in Stonington were wonderful. Distance to Acadia is just over an hour. We highly recommend Pat's Place, a place that feels like your family camp.”

“This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. There was more than enough space for our family of three, and room for a few more if needed. The pond was great for swimming and taking out the canoe. The house was well appointed and lovingly maintained with just the necessities needed for our week long stay. “Amazing spot! Simple, quiet, with a sprinkle of local lobster boats humming by. Perfect weather highlighted the sky, the water and the sunsets. I put away the phone (unreliable internet) opened up a good book, visited the nearby sand beach for a cold plunge, and took in some local theater. This place is a gift for the soul. ”
