Situated on a somewhat active road, the property sits on an old gas station and above an unoccupied Chinese restaurant. Noise from passing traffic was an issue for our infants at times. Apartment super clean in all respects- except for the front load washer. We gave encountered this issue twice before in other Vbros. We counted on washing/ refreshing our clothes for our remainder of trip. The washer rubber gasket was black with mold and detergent drawer- necessary cleaning before use. Totally equipped with lovely furniture, some antique, some very modern, high-end appliances, cookery and local pottery dish-ware. Modern/eclectic vibe within an old building. “We enjoyed our stay at this Deer Isle apartment. Watching the sunrise over the water and the deer crossing the lawns started our days off right. “My wife and I stayed for two nights in March. Arrival and check in was incredibly simple with clear instructions and door code entry. The apartment is up a somewhat steep staircase, but manageable.
