“Beautiful scenery and sounds”

“My Wife and I took a long weekend up to the sandstone sanctuary, we appreciated having no TV and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the woods surrounding us with the occasional Frank Sinatra song on the bluetooth record player. The house was super cozy and had everything you need for cooking and most importantly relaxing. Justine was super friendly and made sure we knew she was only a phone call away! Loved this place and wish we could give a million stars! Will be visiting again!”

“This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. My father stayed on the first floor next to the bathroom and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms upstairs. The house is very clean and full of charming touches that appealed to everyone. “This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out……

“Excellent place to relax! Everything was lovely, perfect and simple! Only thing i'd suggest is putting a mirror up in the small A frame cottages and the ability to control the oscillating fan. Definitely will be back!! ”
