“It was perfect! The minute we walked through the door we felt at home. I have never stayed in a carriage house so I was unsure what the experience would be like. Jen and Mike were the perfect hosts. Plus it is in the perfect location from campus and downtown. We will absolutely return!”

“The Superb host of this quaint, comfortable, two-story gem was friendly and accessible. We enjoyed our visit to the Raystown Lake region, slept well and visited diverse eateries in the area Cupboards and linen supplies were well-stocked, and the home was as pictured and described. ”

“10/10! The property looks just like the pictures! This place is beautiful and just as pictured and described. The check in process was easy, the host communicated very well and was available to assist with any questions I had. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots & pans, cutlery, cutting boards literally EVERYTHING you need to make a home cooked meal; you just bring the food. It was quiet and away from all worldly distraction. There were so many great books on the property, games, puzzles you……

“Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable. Husband left with our dogs on second night because it was too hot for him and them to even get comfortable enough to sleep. Hot water smelled like sewage when running and no hot……

“Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day.”

“This property was the perfect distance from PSU as we were there to move our daughter in for her sophomore year. We don’t like staying right in State College and this was the perfect distance to avoid the hustle and bustle of college move in. The owners were very helpful with dining options and things to do in the area. We will definitely stay here again. I even discovered a Hobby Lobby just a quick 10min drive away! 😊”

“Beautiful quaint cabin 15 minutes from Penn State. The hosts are the nicest people. Stayed for the weekend so we could go to the game. Was the perfect place to stay. There’s so much family history in that cabin, was glad we could stay there. ”

“This was an absolutely beautiful property!!! Loved all The farm animals (horses, chickens, roosters, peacocks and piggies!). The cabins were so well kept and cozy. The property itself was absolutely beautiful if you enjoy animals and the great outdoors! We did not want to leave!!! We will absolutely be coming back to this property! Also Raystown Lake is stunning and we hiked numerous trails that were within a half hour of the property and had an amazing experience!! I would definitely……

“Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. ”

“The charming cottage was the perfect location from which to explore Bald Eagle State Park, State College and the entire area. The cottage also has a gas grill right on the front porch and a lot of room to spread out. My husband and daughter rode their dirt bikes during the day, while I visited the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars and nearby towns. Our hosts, Will and Dana, were extremely responsive which made for a stress free stay. ”
