“The location was perfect for the beautiful state parks to the west and the east. The farmhouse cottage provided everything without obligating us to rent a place much larger than we needed. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep needing to be managed with care. If we were skiers we wouldn’t hesitate to return! We really appreciated Richie and Shannon’s quick response to our requests. ”

“I am originally from the area and wanted to “go home” for a few days. The cabin was clean and had plenty of dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, linens, etc. for my family’s 5 night stay. I loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch and watching the birds and deer in the yard. My husband and daughter had a blast fishing the pond, catch and release of course. We felt just at home and will absolutely rent this cabin again. The owners responded quickly to any questions I had but also gave us……

It was peaceful and private with comfortable beds and strong enough wifi for me to work remotely. David left clear instructions for everything we would need and check in was easy. My husband has already asked when we can come back :) ”

The pond and nature trails on-site offered views and exploration. We saw many birds and different animals without leaving. The closet nature trails (Rattlesnake Hill Wildlife and Stoneybrooke State Park) were fun for our whole family. The host was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. ”

“We had a great time getting away and off the grid for a bit! I did go through withdrawal from my cell, but then it made me focus on the beautiful scenery. The cabin was up high on a mountain, so make sure you have an all wheel drive vehicle. Had hot showers and a nice kitchenette with small frig. The big windows near the comfy bed was the best! There is a DD near by for your coffee fix too! But I learned how to use the old coffee perculator on the stove. Will be coming back soon!”
