“It was great to have the beach to ourselves and be within walking distances to shopping, groceries, restaurants we barely drove our rental at all. Highly recommend walking down the beach. House had everything we needed. Only thing would recommend is bringing stuff for the ocean like a floating toy or similar ”

“The Treehouse was perfect for the last part of our Belize holiday. Tito, the caretaker was on site when we arrived. He was extremely helpful & communication was prompt. We liked how it is centrally located, so we could enjoy the many activities in and around San Ignacio. Loved hearing all the sounds of the jungle in the mornings and cooling off in the pool late in the day. A rare find for a truly different lodging experience; we would recommend The Treehouse. ”

“The home was comfortable and spacious. The location would have been great if it were not for the smell of rotten eggs that permeated the 2nd bedroom and the outdoors. We understood that it was because of the marsh on both sides and decomposing seagrass but it made the outside unusable and the stay in the second bedroom miserable. “Our stay there was more than we expected and then some.Kitchen was well equipped w all amenities including blenders, coffee makers, pots , pans, toaster. 2 - 5 gallon containers of purified water that fed directly to the refrigerator more than ample for our needs ”

“The picture of the house was from the back. If a photo had been included of the front we wouldn’t have stayed. Nice inside but didn’t feel safe.”

“Property was in excellent condition and very clean. Front room has no A/C but if both bedroom doors were open and the fans were turned on, it cooled down nicely. We only used the A/C when we were there during the day and we were fine. The furnishings were fine too. Neighbor hood was typical Belize with both nice and run down houses. We enjoyed our stay and there were plenty of places to eat and things to do. Everywhere we ate was very good. If you visit Belize don’t expect 5 star……

“the location was very secluded and lovely. The two pools were a very nice amenity. It was easy to get luggage in and out of the rooms. The air conditioning was awesome and the Wi-Fi was really fast and consistent. One thing I was disappointed about was the lack of hooks or bars for towels (or wet swimsuits, etc.)anywhere in the room or bathroom. We were in the Treehouse room, so I am not sure if the other rooms had towel racks/hooks. Other than that, our stay was perfect!”

“Our stay was AMAZING!! Beautiful property!! The BREAKFAST was sooo good!! We were away for lunch everyday, sadly! And dinner was Ok! I specifically book riverview #4 for the outside shower and tub. The ONLY recommendation I’d have is to find a way to cover the tub so we don’t have to clean it out before each use. I wasn’t even able to use it during my time there. But the shower was great! ”
