“Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about……
“Second time staying at Ka'ana. We loved it again. The road noise has increased some. I hope with The improvements being done that more trees and bushes are planted along the side of the property adjoining the road. Maybe they will also add some more water features lessen the road noise. We love feeling as if you're in the jungle and big truck noise certainly was different hearing it this time. Still had a great time. A wonderful pool to be enjoyed by all.”
“This place is a hidden gem, we sprung for the villa and it was well worth it. Missing this place as we’re in San Pedro, very new with all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Villa Massis brings the amenities to the jungle, we loved seeing monkeys on the property. The staff and food were excellent, resort offers a very intimate dining experience. Don’t hesitate to book, highlight of our trip. ”
“I recently stayed at The Cabins at Monkey falls in Cayo and had a great time! The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when I mentioned that the initial bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. They promptly exchanged it for us, and the new bed made a significant difference in our comfort.
Aside from that, the atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent service and willingness to ensure guests have a pleasant……
“Absolutely perfect stay. We had the 2 bedroom villa which was gigantic. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and a back terrace that is perfect for breakfast sojourns before getting into the heat of San Ignacio. There is a pool here too, albeit small. The staff are particularly great, and everyone is super polite and helpful. You will need a car to get here, and it’d make sense to rent one anyway as you have to drive in Belize. There is a great walking/hiking trail in the property to get the……
“Gaïa is a dream. We loved every second of our stay. Massages at the waterfall, dinner, the amazing room, coffee service to your room in the am. The staff was so friendly and kind. They have literally thought of everything. Our only mistake was not staying longer.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”
“The peacefulness of this hotel was amazing and the security we had during our stay was great. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was close to several great restaurants. ”
“Very beautiful view and setting. Service was excellent. The whole hotel was always very clean.
The only thing that we didn’t enjoy was the bed. It was a little soft for us but we like firm mattresses. ”
“We loved staying at this property. Comfortable beds, and the villa was immaculate. Our kids loved having the outdoor shower(s) and private pool. If other people were staying on the property, we didn't see them.
We did not rent a 4wheel drive vehicle, which is highly recommended. The road leading to the villa was VERY steep. We were fine, but if it had rained during our stay we might have a different opinion on that choice!”
“Rolson provided a great base for our travel in the San Ignacio area. The downtown is not too far but not really an easy walk away so you’ll need transportation like a taxi or car. The rooms are well priced and tour guides know it’s location so can accommodate direct hotel transfers. Very handy having a restaurant and bar and pool to dip into after hot day touring! ”
“Even though the hotel is located downtown, it was amazingly quiet at night. We slept well. The bed was the most comfortable of the trip. Super nice people, convenient, and close to many great restaurants. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Thanks. ”
“The guesthouse is located in an 80 year old historic building that is on the side of town where locals live and shop. It's a short walk from the bus terminal, San Ignacio market, Cahal Pech, Green Iguana Conservation, and other touristic sites. Max is a great host who sent us a lot of local recommendations from sightseeing places to restaurants. He also gave us recommendations on places we can go on our own, ones we needed a guide and local events that we can attend to better understand the……
