“This place is a hidden gem, we sprung for the villa and it was well worth it. Missing this place as we’re in San Pedro, very new with all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Villa Massis brings the amenities to the jungle, we loved seeing monkeys on the property. The staff and food were excellent, resort offers a very intimate dining experience. “I wish we would have planned more time here vs at the coast. Cohune Palms was the highlight of our Belize trip. This place was paradise!! We were reluctant at first due to no a/c but the weather cooled off at night and was perfect. Fans during the day kept everything enjoyable. The river next to the resort was beautiful and a blast to swim in and enjoy the rope swing. We have 50x the mosquitos here in California…with a little bug spray you barely even notice them there. “Rolson provided a great base for our travel in the San Ignacio area. The downtown is not too far but not really an easy walk away so you’ll need transportation like a taxi or car. The rooms are well priced and tour guides know it’s location so can accommodate direct hotel transfers. Very handy having a restaurant and bar and pool to dip into after hot day touring! ”

“De algehele ruimte is prima, het matras en de hoofdkussens waren goed. Een plafondventilator en een staande ventilator aanwezig en voldoende. Geen airco. Het sanitair voldoende maar goedkoop, alles afgewerkt met heel dun plastic (douchecabine, wc bril). Service is goed. Waar je rekening mee moet houden is de geluidsoverlast. Honden, verkeer, eigen verhuur van auto's en luid piepende en krakende tussendeuren. De 4 kamers liggen dicht tegen elkaar aan en direct langs de weg en het eigen……
