“I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc. The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. During a month of travelling this was by far the best sleep we had. The room was quiet and dark as well, and AC provided perfect temperature for once. “The view from my room was breathtaking. The receptionist on my first day of check in was very helpful. Just for the view, I would definitely come back and stay here. Definitely recommend others to stay here if they are staying in San Ignacio. My criticism would be the shower was a bit hard to use because the water was weak and that the pool was quite dirty. The water was murky. The person on the day I checked out could have been a bit more courteous. After checking out, he just told me……

“Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife.”

“Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room. Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize! Our room was perfect for our large family and included three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The roads……

“Warrie Head was a wonderful surprise. The grounds are beautiful and swimming in the river is so much fun. The food is great and the rooms clean and well kept. But the hosts Debbie and Blair really make the difference. I felt like a guest in their home and can't wait to go back and visit with them.
