“What a nice find. We've been to West Virginia for years with family roots. When this property showed up or Hotels.com, it was a pleasant surprise. Very quaint and cozy on a quiet street on the banks of the Elk River in Braxton Co., WV. Called to check on us as we were running late, offered to hold the Cafe open for dinner. Escorted to your room. The history of it's old period construction with new touches is really cool. Bed comfy, quiet night. We intend to stay again. ”

“Nice place overall. Carpet could be replaced, kitchen sink drains slow, small microwave over sink not operating.”

“I had a great stay overall—staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the service was excellent. However, the décor and facilities feel outdated and could benefit from a modern facelift. The atmosphere reminded me of a nursing home, which might not appeal to all guests. Updating the interiors could really elevate the guest experience and match the level of service provided. “Condo and the property was very outdated. Beds were uncomfortable. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant/bar at the property so that was nice, but it closed early. The location was ideal for skiing - so for that reason only I would stay here again. ”

“This is a wonderfully kept property with very gratuitous host and hostess. Our room had 2 queen beds, a love seat, a table, small refrigerator, and a microwave. We were visiting Cass Scenic Railway and Morning Glory Inn is one of the few lodging options in the area to offer breakfast. This is a rural area that primarily focuses on the winter ski trade. In the off season dining options are limited and tend to close early so plan accordingly. Also cell service is limited. If driving in from……

“Great location in Snowshoe Village; secure, clean parking garage. Condos individually decorated; ours was Pier1off the shelf. Bathroom and kitchen clean; kitchen adequately supplied. ”

“Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. ”
