“Stayed here with my mother, husband and our 2 kids ages 8 and 12. We enjoyed walking down to the waterfront and the Yorktown battlefield National Park. The great room is comfortable and well stocked with games. There are only 2 bedrooms, so it is a bit tight with 3 adults and 2 kids, but one kid took the couch which worked fine. We were not interested in cooking, but it had a small functional kitchen for anyone who is.”

“This is our second stay here, and we love it so much! The house is super clean, fully stocked, and has all the essentials you might have forgotten at home! There is nothing more relaxing than sitting out in the hot tub overlooking the bay with a good book! We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a restful and relaxing getaway! We can’t wait to come back! ”

“Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is the perfect size with many cute and artistic touches. We loved the porch, looking for shells and shark teeth on the beach, using the kayaks and the fire pit. It was secluded and relaxing ”

“First, I did not realize how far off the beaten path the property was; however, it wasn't a difficult or treacherous drive. Once arriving, it was well worth it. The property is immaculate and provided all the basic needs to cook and enjoy the amenities. The river is beautiful, and watching it from the sunroom happened daily. I will definitely look at this property when returning, hopefully it will be warmer but the firepit offered warmth and smores when sitting out back enjoying the river……

“About 20 minutes to walking & colonial Williamsburg, 20 to Busch Gardens. Very clean. It was really warm when we arrived but cooled down well enough (the upstairs more effectively than the downstairs but both were pleasant). This is a Hilton run resort and it was a gorgeous property with lots to do on its campus (indoor pool, mini golf, walking grounds, gym, fishing, etc etc). The kitchens were well enough appointed. Make sure you bring salt and pepper as they weren't included with the "basics."……
