The cottage is well equipped, clean and cozy, perfect for a couples get away, would book again if returning to HF. “Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and……

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

“Beautiful house, great views, lots of space and plenty of bedrooms! Very clean, everything worked as it should. Very private, no neighbors on top of you but close to town and attractions. Grandchildren loved the swings and we enjoyed ping pong and the pool table! We had a fantastic time hanging out on the deck and especially the screened porch in the evenings. Would stay here again!”

It was so helpful to have a stocked kitchen, large table (big enough for everyone to eat around), and a washer and dryer. The game room was an added bonus! The trail around the house was really the only place to explore near the house. The roads are narrow, so walking or biking were not safe.
