“My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed at GSS this last weekend. The apartment is spotless, everything well marked and well thought out. Tammy was lovely, and responded quickly to all our questions. “Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. “Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away.”

“My best friend and I had an absolutely relaxing time here, I wish we had stayed longer! The property is very unique and exactly like the pictures. We spent so much of our time just sitting out back watching the water and enjoying the hot tub and porch swing (also, two of the trees out back are perfect for a hammock!). Owners were great communicators and access was super easy. Also the neighbors we ran into were so friendly! Highly recommend!”

“The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. ”
