“It is a nice property and nice amenities. The staff always responded quickly to questionsHad a lot of trouble with the Wi-Fi until someone gave us instructions to reset the upstairs router. The condition of the hot tub was questionable and on our last day, we could not get it to start at all.It would be nice if there head been a printed out sheet of instructions with the Wi-Fi, how to operate the TVs, departure, instructions, etc. I understand that information is available online, but it would……

“Area felt dangerous and had loud music blaring till 12am. Thank you for teaching us a lesson in triple checking reviews and area before. Will never make this mistake again. Cabin was filthy and they just tried to cover it with glade scent vaporizer. Towels and shower were disgusting. I wish I could say better about this place I really wanted it to be nice.”

“We had an amazing time at this property! It was so clean and fully decorated for the holidays! There was nothing we needed that wasn’t handy and available—Our group was made up of young 20 somethings and older adults. The house and lake access was perfect! We kayaked, played games and watched Christmas movies! Thank you!”

“Gastonia was a very beautiful place to stay. Easy access to a charming downtown and close to Charlotte. The property itself had some problems, so better prepared packers will avoid inconveniences, but the owner was accommodating for shortcomings. A good spot if you don't plan to spend all day at home.”

“I had an awesome time in cabin #4! I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and had fun paddleboarding from the marina steps away. Although I was in the water with a snake swimming close by, I felt safe with many visitors nearby. The staff on property were friendly and helpful. The Friday night movie was a lot of fun and the firepit felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ”

“Was not happy with check in as we had asked for early check in if possible. We received a call around noon and was told the cabin would be ready for us at 2. When we got there they were still cleaning the cabin and told us it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before we could get in. Not pleased with the overall. ”
