“There was a problem with our room but they responded quickly and fixed it ”

“So relaxing and beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were amazing and the cookies at check in were so delicious!! The town of Elsah is literally you taking a step back in time! Over 50% of the town is the original buildings from the mid 18 hundreds! The Bald Eagles were very active when we were there! Our hosts gave us a private tour of the town’s museum it was amazing! You can’t go wrong staying there and visiting ”

“My parents (both over 65 yrs old) car broke down and needed to stay for the night at check in their guest clerk was excellent. Help them with everything they needed to know for the night. When it was time to check out hotel clerk made them a little goodie bag for the road. I work for Hyatt and I tell you. You don’t need to go to a big 5 start hotel to get great service. ”

“My only complaint is that I had only one bottle of water in my room and there was no refill the next day”

“Aweful! The alarm keeps ringing every hour from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. even when I unplug it. In addition, I book the room for 4 people. However, I only get three towels and three coffee. The person from the desk said it's normal. What a weird hotel. ”

“So what I liked the most about my stay there was the staff in the beginning when i checked in. They were nice, friendly and got my room as quick as possible. The next thing I liked was the waiter i had when i ate dinner, it was very enthusiastic and he had a sense of urgency and he was very respectful. Next were the valet they was very kind. And the last thing i liked was the lady at the front desk when i was checking out. She was an Angel. Overall my experience was a 10 out of 10”
