“Newtown is a special New England village that was founded in 1705. This 3-bedroom house on a small lake was perfect for 6 of us to relax in between family activities around the area. Best for folks who can handle steps. Gorgeous main, open living space takes up entire main floor where we played games, watched tv, cooked, ate and read. Recommended. ”

“The house and view of the the lake where beautiful, we went in early spring. There was a lot of games and activities to do in the house the kayaking was nice and everything you needed was included in the house and was very pet friendly. That all being said there was a surprisingly amount of ants for this time of year inside the house, it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. “My girlfriends and mine were looking for a nice weekend getaway to unwind. The property was very clean. The basement level seemed a little more disheveled than pictured and very cold. Unfortunately we didn’t spend any time down there. The rest of the property was wonderful and spotless! Beds were comfortable.”
