“Great getaway for spring break. Did all the things Big Bear has to offer besides skiing. Location was amazing for Bear Mountain. Zoo is almost walkable as well. Home was amazing. Only small inconvenience was master bath sink has no hot water and zero pressure. Shower worked great though. Washing machine didn’t work , seems to short out, think it’s just dated. No other complaints. Great trip! Will come back again in winter. ”

“The house is very cute, clean and in a very convenient location. Bed was extremely comfortable and the house provided everything needed. Issues were with overall upkeep. Many lightbulbs burnt out which made some areas completely dark. We purchased and replaced 4 lightbulbs but in 2 additional areas the wingnuts in the light shade were rusted and we couldn’t get them unscrewed so we couldn’t replace. Unfortunately the inside staircase was one of those areas so we had no light to go up and……

“I just returned from a rejuvenating weekend in Big Bear, and it was truly the most peaceful vacation I've had in a long time. “Very frustrating in the beginning, I had requested an early check in,1:00, which was great except when we got there at 2:30, could not get in at all driveway was not cleared at all, spent until 4:30 shoveling drive to even park. I begged a random guy with a plow and paid him 40, he scooped the bottom only, we had to scoop rest to even park. Inside carpets were rolling up everywhere and we had to fights ants in the kitchen. Fantastic time with my 3 sons and families.”

“I enjoyed the comfort of the room and the property. Staff was very agreeable. The room we paid for was like a small apartment which made enjoying our free time in the room. I did not care for the blanket that was in the bed was full of hair (I blame the texture of the blanket rather than the cleanliness of the blanket). However this did set me off from getting in the covers. I slept above the made bed with a blanket I brought from home.”
