“The property is kept very beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with just the right amount of items. The furniture in our living room (505) was very uncomfortable. The room was beautiful and very spacious. The dining room and extra sitting room and the 2 bathrooms were all very comfortable to have. “We had a great week at the Effie. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and the food was so good! The staff from reception to bar were all really friendly and helpful, and were responsive to any issues we had. The only issues we had were that the drain in our shower smelled during use for the first few days, until it was resolved. The toilet paper in our room was not replenished when our room was serviced several times, but again this was resolved……

“We originally booked for the weekend but came a day early. The front desk was able to accommodate both reservations in the same room so we didn’t have to move. After learning at check-in we were in town for my grandmother’s funeral the front desk presented me a sympathy card the next morning. Shelldon and everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Room and bed were very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.”
