“The property is kept very beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with just the right amount of items. The furniture in our living room (505) was very uncomfortable. The room was beautiful and very spacious. The dining room and extra sitting room and the 2 bathrooms were all very comfortable to have. I would have preferred a balcony and wish I would have known before arrival that one was not part of our room. ”

“This hotel was excellent. Our room was so clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was so efficient, nice, and helpful. As soon as we called for anything we needed the staff was right up to bring it. Their continental breakfast has different options everyday and it's all kept fresh and well. We will be staying here again. The pool and hottub were perfect too. 10/10 do recommend. ”

“Location was great, close to some amazing restaurants and the beach. When we first arrived, check-in was easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and I instantly noticed the floor wasn’t vacuumed well. There was a pen, dirt, some hair on the floor and the bed linens didn’t feel as though they were clean. We accepted it, as this was a cheaper hotel and didn’t expect a 5 star stay. However, the bathroom ceiling had what looked to be mold above the tub……

“Breakfast was great! Lots of restaurants and night life close by. Beach is a quick 5 min drive. The building itself was a bit old. The hallway floors seemed to have holes under the rug so the floor was uneven. Bathroom was not cleaned carefully. Looks like previous guest hung a wet and sandy bathing suit from hook. There was dry sand and dried dirty drips down the back of the door. ”

“Vacasa is a joke to work with. They tell you that Check-in isn’t until 4 pm but the code they give you to get in the door isn’t ready at 4 pm. Usually several minutes later. Happens with them many times over. ”

“We had a great week at the Effie. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and the food was so good! The staff from reception to bar were all really friendly and helpful, and were responsive to any issues we had. The only issues we had were that the drain in our shower smelled during use for the first few days, until it was resolved. The toilet paper in our room was not replenished when our room was serviced several times, but again this was resolved……
