“The reviews definitely had me concerned, but I would absolutely stay here again; the price couldn't be beat! In my opinion, any complaint I have is a matter of personal preference. Our room on the ground floor had an obstructed view unfortunately. It was nice, however, to be able to step right out to the boardwalk. There was only a microwave and a small fridge in the room. “I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! “For the price, I would recommend and stay here again. Our room was clean and had what we needed. Nothing more. This is most definitely a bare minimum hotel. But the convenience of the location, the free bike, kayak and paddle boards…it’s worth it. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. But something for everyone. I think our favorite part was the sandy vintage beach hotel feel. We would take that any day over a fancy overpriced stay. Thanks Surf and Sand! We hope to be back soon ”
