“First of all, very impressed with everything provided in the cabin pretty much everything we can think of was already there so we definitely overpacked.. The property was amazing crossing down into the river in the backyard with the fire ring was especially a very cool experience. The big side property was great for a little wiffle ball game with my nephew…. Close by down the road was a nice hike to the fire tower. Overall, an excellent experience. Big plus on Wi-Fi since there’s zero cell……

“We had a great stay in a cozy cabin and enjoyed excellent communication with Laura. When we had an issue with the grill’s propane tank, she sent someone up within 15 minutes, which we really appreciated.There are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the cabin could benefit from more seating. With five adults, it was challenging for all of us to gather comfortably in one room. Additional armchairs, especially in the room with the record player, would have been appreciated. It would also help to……

“We were worried because there was only one review on VRBO, but the other booking platform has lots of great reviews for this house.If you’re going to Windham, this house is great. The bedroom attached to the bunk bed room has a full bed. The loft has a Queen futon. The bedroom with attached bath has a king bed. The hot tub and kitchen are great. We had 6 adults and 3 kids. “It’s really a great property, very nicely equipped and very tastefully decorated. It was a true pleasure being there at night and also working from there for a few hours during the weekend. We didn’t need to communicate with the host much but we got a prompt and very helpful response the one time that we did need it (before arriving - late in the evening, we needed suggestions on what was open at that late hour to grab some food, beverages and the like). “Superbly clean! We had an excellent time at the house. It was warm and inviting, stocked with great books, music and games. Well insulated and complete with odds and ends for an easy home away from home! Perfect location to Woodstock and the region. We had baby birds outside the window and deer around. Thanks again!”
