“Everything from check in, check out, communication and amenities was excellent during our stay. Laurie and her husband Pat were amazing property managers. It snowed while we were staying and Pat plowed the driveways and salted the walkways. We forgot a few items and Laurie was kind enough to mail them back to us. I can’t say enough about our wonderful trip. We’ll definitely try to stay here again. ”

“The house is large and very beautiful with historic features and charm, overlooking rolling hills. There are very serene pastures surrounding it with charming stone walls. We even saw somewild turkeys on the fields while we were there :). It’s very remote and secluded so you have to make sure you have provisions and gas before you go. The host explained that beforehand and was very responsive. There are no curtains anywhere, which you don’t need for privacy but be prepared to be up at the……

Each of us taking respite from work, family, kids, spouses and modernity, we all spent "Groundhog's Day" weekend hiking, hot tubbing, cooking, watching a movie* and relaxing by the fire. With most stores more than a half-hour away, we took advantage of the large versatile farmhouse kitchen when preparing our meals; which were needed after the 2-mile round-trip……
