“Clean and updated. Comfortable. Would have preferred better access to media programming....Netflix, Prime for better televiaion watching. Close to whatever we needed. 30 minute drive to Philly. Enjoyed our stay.”

We had such a great time, I don’t think a tv was turned on … except for the movie playing in the theater by our 20 something’s! Can’t wait for the Haunt convention next year as we’ll be back! “Downingtown Manor is perfectly located for a trip to the Brandywine/Longwood area of PA. The house is in charming Downingtown, with many terrific restaurants and pubs. Also surrounded by natural beauty, hikes, charming towns and country drives. The manor provides a relaxing and comfortable respite with a fabulous sunroom, including views over Brandywine Creek replete with bald eagles and gorgeous trees. “We were very pleased with the appearance of the property. The property was decorated very well and contained many amenities to make the visit more comfortable. We especially appreciated the quality of the bedding. We did experience a couple of minor glitches, but these were very quickly and effectively resolved by the owner. ”

“The house was close to perfect. There were a few things we felt needed improvement. The open animal door to the basement was a concern since we didn’t have a clue what’s in the basement. The one bed room didn’t have a warm comforter and last there was hair cat hair on the floors in the kitchen. The house was beautiful and tastefully done. The barn is relaxing and beautiful. We do did have a great time.”
