“It's not the Waldorf Astoria but that wasn't the intent. If you're looking for a clean friendly stay in a beautifully walkable setting this is it. Apart from the somewhat dated accomodations (hey, it was a tad rustic but it evoked pleasant feelings of nostalgia for this 60-something boomer) I couldn't have asked for a quiter room nestled on the shore of a beautiful lake (well, reservoir) and park. Plus we had the added benefit of being there outside of the tourist season. I'll be back.”

“The hotel, staff and room were as advertised and clean. Breakfast was as expected in a hotel setting. The bed was very hard for my tastes. I did not sleep well only getting about 3-2 hours of sleep before getting up due to the bed being very uncomfortable. The chair in the room was also not very comfortable.”
