“Our group of 19 was comfortable except that the top floor of the carriage house was very warm. All enjoyed the amenities and the pontoon boat. Great place for a large group!”

“The stay at Charlie’s was fabulous. The property include a large pond for viewing , great for morning coffee or a walk. The living room and bar setup were very comfortable with pop out recliners. The kitchen was very cute and had all your daily requirements. The bedroom was very large with 3 large beds and plenty of space. I loved the overall peaceful and warm vibe. Will be staying again! ”

“The outdoor area was fabulous.The dock had a boat hoist which was perfect for us since we brought a boat. Loved the shallow sand bottomed shore rather than rocks since we had a 2,5, and 6 year old with us.There is no hot tub as advertised.The 3 bathrooms have been nicely remodeled and there was plenty of hot water.”

“This is a beautiful home on a nice quiet lake. We loved staying here! Not too far to tourist attractions and downtown Cheboygen is quaint. The home was clean and well appointed. Everytime we felt like we needed something in the kitchen we were able to find it. We loved the openness of the main areas but it was also large enough that everyone felt they had their own space to escape to. There were a couple of times we reached out to the host and they replied quickly. The kids loved the games and……

“Overall very nice house, has all of the basics needed, and for most part conveniently located. Beautiful view, and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds and furniture. Some minor issues with ceiling fans and some lighting. There are several switches that we couldn’t figure what they were for. Labeling them would be helpful. ”
