“This is a wonderful house for a large family vacation. We had a group of 15 and there was more than enough room for us to be comfortable. There was a power outage in Black Mountain. I emailed the host and water and flashlights were delivered to us very quickly. The best part of the trip was sitting on the porch looking at that beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The cabin is truly a beautifully preserved historic home from the 1940s and feels like stepping into a summer vacation from days gone by. We loved the views of the mountains and forest around us and even were graced by a mama bear and her cubs. The record player, vhs tapes, and variety of cool things to do around the cabin kept us entertained even when relaxing around indoors. Black Mountain is also a beautiful little town with lots of unique shops and restaurants. We look forward to returning……

“This cottage was everything we were hoping for. It was private and very peaceful. With the partial lane closures on the mountain, the drive to visit Asheville was around 40 minutes, a little longer than we were expecting, but the beauty of this little cottage was well worth it. We very much enjoyed the back porch in the evenings and sat out front by the creek in the mornings. It was really nice. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.
