“Cottage was very clean and just the right size for our family of 3. It was conveniently located a short walking distance to downtown Black Mountain, so visiting local eateries was easy without having to find parking. Host recognized small child with us and dropped off a pack n play to ensure we had everything needed. Definitely will consider the property again when in Black Mountain area.”

“Wonderful high-end cabin in the mountains. We liked to cook and hang out, and the kitchen worked great for that! Huge kitchen table with lazy Susan and another great table out on the deck if you want to have a meal together outside. Easy to access town and those offerings. Stores close by. The cabin is very high up, so super steep inclines to reach it. Still, had no trouble accessing the airport by Uber. Although I did feel obligated to tip a lot! 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms! Super……

“We had a lovely stay at your home. Everything was clean, cute, and convenient. Great deck and fenced yard with pollinator garden. Stellar location to the lake and town. 2 desks helped with remote work while here. Will stay again!”

“We loved the Big Oak Cabin! It had everything we needed for a fun mother/daughter weekend. The beds were comfortable and the sectional couch was perfect for watching movies. The kitchen table was large enough for six of us and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner. Loved the location being so close to downtown Black Mountain and a 10 min. drive to the grocery store, but it still felt like we were in the mountains. ”

“We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this property. It has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 6 however, there is only one small bathroom. The tub/shower is a clawfoot tub and the sides are quite high. We did not realize there was a stepstool available until the second day for climbing in and out of the tub. The master bedroom on the main floor had a king size bed which is what we wanted. However, that made the space very tight. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the deck and using the hot tub……
