“Our group was an unrelated group of friends and the accommodations met our needs perfectly. The home was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was a very cold and icy time of year and the homeowner made sure that we had everything we needed for a safe stay. He was very responsive and understanding of our needs. We will definitely book this home again! ”

We spend our first night in and kept laughing as we were settling because all the things you typically need were provided. “My husband and I stayed in this charming home, and for the weekend had our son and his family join us. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen equipped so I could prepare a big taco meal and eat out on the patio in the evening. We all enjoyed the screened porch and the big yard, playing hide and seek with the grandkids. We left just before the hurricane and hope that this home did not suffer the damage to the area.”

“The property is great. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds and furniture. Lots of extra spaces to hang out. The location is great. Only about 7 minutes to downtown Black Mountain. The only thing negative I can say is the kitchen could use a few more items if someone is expecting to cook much. There was also a security camera pointed at the hot tub. There is an ATD security system on the property, but it felt a bit weird. Lastly, I'm so happy this is a pet friendly home. Our dog loved it,……

“Our friend’s trip was great! The Grey Eagle Cottage was a great place to stay! SUPER dog friendly, BIG fenced in yard with a wood fire pit and plenty of wood to burn. Charcoal grill and coal was provided! The hot tub was awesome once fixed properly. Communication with the host was GREAT! They responded so quick and helped with anything we needed, they were on top and ensured our stay was comfortable.
