“Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. We stayed with 16 guests, 10 children, and……

“We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very roomy, beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood! Lots for the kids to do, they loved the air hockey! The host was great, we had a little hiccup the first day, and he handled it immediately, was very nice and easy to get ahold of! I was a little nervous because there was no air conditioning but we opened the windows and it was perfect. We would definitely book here again”

“The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. ”

“It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely.
