“Key collection was very straight forward, house and room very clean and comfortable. Cake on arrival a nice touch. Prosecco and chocolates for valentines and extra special thought! Unfortunately breakfast times very short and early for the weekends so didn’t have breakfast on the Saturday (parkrun timings didn’t allow and didn’t work out how to arrange early breakfast until it was too late). “This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\ ”

“This is a beautiful property with a stunning garden. Breakfast was delicious with so Much choice. Free sunloungers and use of garden. Free bike hire. Lovely range of complementary snacks/drinks in room. Only slight drawback was lack of sockets and very narrow bathroom. Otherwise 10/10 and would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. ”

“This visit was my first time in Norfolk and the Stiffkey Red Lion was an ideal location for Walsingham, Wells and the numerous nature reserves in the area. The walks from the Red Lion to the sea or inland are excellent. I strongly recommend this hotel. The food was very good.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your……

“A lot of time and trouble has clearly been invested in this hotel & there is much to applaud. The design and layout of the public spaces are excellent, with an elegant, homely feel, and there are one or two surprising areas to discover, such as the wine room.
