“We had a family getaway for some fishing and relaxing. The cabin and grounds are great. That area is not good for fishing as it is full of turtles so we rented a boat from the property owner to go out on the lake better and found really good fishing spots. Overall it was a great week with good accommodation.”

“This place was amazing. It was just what we needed to get away from city life for a short while. The property and the cabin were gorgeous. Not having wifi and cell signal was a big selling point for us on the property as we wanted an unplugged weekend. The walking trails and the pond was lovely. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend staying here. ”

“We had a great time at this beautiful cabin! This home had all amenities needed for a relaxing stay! We loved the location being a short walk to the lake and park and being able to watch the fireworks across the lake. The home and outside area was clean, comfortable and we felt at home. Peaceful, lots of bird watching from deck. very functional Kitchen, house layout (wish we had come here when we had small kids, even has a secret room under the stairs), deck was huge with massive picnic table. Dock was really nice, but we couldn't get in water due to weather/debri due to storms. AC is very strong and cooled house down quickly. Recommend to go to cute towns nearby, like Huntsville and Conroe, if the weather is not lake friendly. The lake was……

“Thought I was getting a cabin out in the woods, however it turned out to be in a RV Resort with huge swimming pool, huge pavilion for kids, bounce house and a very nice staff!! They even had a little bar area with live music on Saturday night. My only complaint was the band didn't play longer. Can't wait to come back”

“We had a fantastic stay. The house was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Not a lot of kitsch like some lakefront rentals. The kitchen was fully stocked and the linens were really nice too. My boyfriend, who always wakes up with a backache when we stay in hotels, said the mattress was great. We both slept great for once!We mostly stayed upstairs because of the view. We had our coffee in the morning enjoying the cool breeze off the water on the deck watching the variety of waterfowl……
