“I want to say don’t come here because it’s so good. Probably safe from before being overrun though as it was not crowded. The restaurant, on the other hand, is very popular which can be a problem if don’t want to leave the property. Mixed blessing there but food and cocktails are extremely good. ”

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Our stay at Surrey was delightful! We were welcomed warmly and immediately felt comfortable and cared for. Bailey arranged for us to switch tents graciously and with ease. Oli was especially kind and treated us to a delicious peanut butter cookie from the cafe. She later brought us a sample of an appetizer from a recipe that she was trying and it was such a treat! We luxuriated in the hot tub and enjoyed a fire in our fire pit. I would definitely recommend a stay here.”

“Loved everything about this resort. I only wish it had been a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the ocean. Our room was cozy and warmed by a stove fireplace and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We were greeted with delicious cookies and a free glass of wine. More delicious bakery treats were available in the morning with coffee. I highly recommend a stay at this resort.”

“We stayed in a teeny-tiny cabin. Nice shower with nice products. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice bed! Two burner stovetop and mini fridge. Fire pit and picnic bench in front of each cabin. Just a few steps to Johnson’s Beach. Just a few blocks from Safeway and restaurants. La Bodeguita Mexican restaurant is a MUST. Property manager Chris is very kind and helpful. ”
