“This hits all the check marks of our requirements for our 17th wedding anniversary. The solar-powered cottage on top of a hill is cute, warm and comfortable. We came prepared with sleeping bags and food to cook at their grill. The toilet/sink in their barn met our needs. The highlight of the place is the view both from the cottage and from hiking the lookout of the property. Their dogs, goats and cows are friendly. Lynn and Buddy gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We will be back and will……

“Nice place to stay with your family if you want a quiet getaway. House was clean and cozy on the inside. Loved the enclosed porch, and kids had a blast playing and sleeping out there. Really close to the Jackson River trail and a lot of beautiful sights. ”

“Hello,We enjoyed our getaway. Very quiet, private and had exactly what we needed. Stink bugs were a bit of an issue but could just be that it is spring.”

“The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas……
