“The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting.……

“Beautiful Mountain Views! Photos in listing are accurate. Make sure to notice that the ceilings do not go all the way up to the ceiling, so the sounds of the night in other rooms are more like being in 1 large room. The listing suggests 4WD or AWD to upper parking level. I would actually recommend it for the lower parking level as well. We have a Toyota Highlander with good tires and still spun in the rocks and had to back down and put in low gear and gun it to get to the lower level. Don't……

“Using the red lined path, it was a half mile walk to the downtown area and plenty of shops/restaurants. got a reservation at the french goat which was very nice (get the burger) the place was very nice and clean and plenty of towels etc. the artwork was very interesting (in a good way). Keurig coffee machine for morning coffee a plus and they even provided some pods. got some firewood for the firepit but didn't use as in a weird location at the end of driveway somewhat close to the neighbors--.……

“Our family of eight, plus a pet dog loved being in this home. The fenced in back yard was great for the pup and we enjoyed an evening outside around the patio table chatting, laughing, and catching up. The home was spacious indoors so we didn't feel like we were crowded. Such a cool older home. The home was clean and well stocked. The owner was very good with corresponding. The location was great as we walked to a couple local restaurants and was convenient for our trips to the State Fair……

“Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!”

“After I small set back upon arrival our stay was wonderful. It's everything you want in an old farmhouse that has been very well updated from kitchen and bathroom supplies to linens and comforters everything is provided. Outdoor fireplaces and acres to explore. We were there for work but hoping to come back when we have more time to enjoy this beautiful home.”

“A wonderful place for a family get together a game room filled with anything you can think of nice fire pit which we enjoyed and firewood supplied was a nice treat. Large front and back decks made nice places for gatherings, but definitely would visit again.”
