“The house was great! Great location close to campus. Clean and stocked with everything we needed. Great communication with the owner and let us check in a little early. Loved that we were able to bring our furry friends along. The only complaint I could make was the mosquitos in the yard were terrible so if you want to enjoy the beautiful yard or have animals coming along, pack bug spray. Thanks for the stay! ”

“Nestled in trees, quiet, peaceful area. Loved the hammocks under the trees! The lake can be seen through the trees, but no close access to the water. Kitchen had everything needed. Plenty of clean towels & paper goods. Bedding was clean and comfy. Enjoyed all the windows and the view. It was enjoyable to on the deck. Great weekend stay with girlfriends! ”

“The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.”

“Second time staying here due to the welcoming atmosphere of the home and the ease with checking in/out. Once again, another fantastic stay!”

“We had a lovely stay at this property. The house was extremely clean, which made settling in feel effortless and comfortable. It's tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, which gave us a peaceful retreat--no traffic noise, just calm surroundings and a great sense of privacy. A couple of things to note: the water pressure in the master was quite low. Also if you're planning to cook, be aware that the kitchen is light on cookware, especially pans-so you might want to bring a few extras……

“We had a party of 10 who come to Manhattan each year for a K-State football game. The schoolhouse was perfect for the size of our group. The kitchen and living areas are sizable and open and very comfortable for several people. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee makers, dishware, pots & pans, glassware, etc. We cooked breakfast there each morning and the space allowed the cooks to easily make preparations. All rooms were very clean; beds were comfortable. Jan was easy to work with and……
