I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home……

Coffee/tea and many small things that can help make the stay more enjoyable without first going to the super market were provided (paper towels, cleaning utensils etc.). View from kitchen, dining room or the comfortable recliner chairs in the sitting area is simply wonderful. Prairie du Chien with grocery stores/Walmart/restaurants is about a 20……
