“This is our third stay at Phyllis's little slice of heaven. I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home……

“House is very well appointed, found everything in tip-top shape. Very clean upon arrival. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Coffee/tea and many small things that can help make the stay more enjoyable without first going to the super market were provided (paper towels, cleaning utensils etc.). View from kitchen, dining room or the comfortable recliner chairs in the sitting area is simply wonderful. Prairie du Chien with grocery stores/Walmart/restaurants is about a 20……

“Great space for our large group and well stocked with kitchen items, bedding and towels. I have given it 4 stars because the driveway, sidewalks and porch were not shoveled when we arrived. A good few inches of snow came in a day before we arrived so I feel like it should have been done. We couldn’t find a shovel so we had to use a dust pan to make a path out the front of the house otherwise we would’ve tracked an insane amount of snow into the home. “Our time spent at this property was ideal. It was very spacious for our large group. The views were picturesque as we sipped our coffee on the deck or were walking around the property.
